A free, family reunion-style community celebration in the museum’s backyard and indoor spaces. Enjoy cookout favorites from food vendors, music, shopping, and activities for the whole family. Caesar’s Famous Ribs (Follow the Smoke) returns to serve up their signature BBQ, and local vocalist Morgan Joyce Hart will take to the stage as The Affair’s featured entertainment.

Creation Station artists providing free arts activities, in the Spady Museum’s Kuumba Village, include:

• Shanna Woods, Lavish Lovin creating body butter from mango butter with a selection of essential oils to take home as a gift or for yourself.
• Terez Duncanson, Blissfully Unapologetic creating unique earrings and necklaces using wire wrapped gemstones to take home as a gift or for yourself.
• Nicole Escalera creating fanciful mosaics tiles using brightly colored glass objects to create a masterpiece to home as a gift or for yourself.
